I think I may have picked this up after reading a review here. In any case, I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Definitely not his best work -- and I’m not one of those people who believe Moz hasn’t done anything worthwhile since Your Arsenal -- but still a solid effort.
I have a confession to make: I’m so poor and lazy that I hadn’t actually listened to the whole album until tonight. I fell in love with "Repeaterbeater" right away, and although the rest of the album probably doesn’t live up to my hopes, it’s still quality work.
I’m a sucker for female singers, I do not hide this fact. I also did not buy a lot of music this year. That being said, this album really grew on me. Took a few listens to really start warming up to it, but now I really like it.
Probably not the most original pick, but, man this was not even a contest in terms of what my favorite album was. Only album that has songS that elicit emotional responses. Great, great album. My only regret is not seeing them.
Catchy. Easy. I’m getting old. What can I say?
At first listen, I fell in love. Perfect track for doing stuff around the house. Added bonus: For whatever reason, using it as a starting point on Genius or Pandora turns out a great playlist.
The video is awesome. The song is even better. I’m not usually a fan of trembly voices, but this really worked for me..
First time I heard this something broke loose inside me. I can’t really articulate what that means, but I really liked this track. The video where she explains the lyrics ... awesome ... ridiculously awesome.
I don’t get out to shows very often. The ones I do go to are invariably ones my wife wants to see. This is definitely one of those. That said, I’ve become a fan over the years and Morrissey never fails to impress during live performances.
