A very fine album from a very funny looking band.
My favorite Norwegians redeemed themelves with this album. After the debacle that was Party Animals, the denim recruits have returned to their roots with a sexy and ridiculous piece of awesome. (Even if you don’t listen to this album you should at least peep the song titles….Everyone Loves A Chubby Dude, for example.)
All I have to say is I wanted to hate this because Jenny Lewis is so hot right now, and then it totally ruled. In the words of Rev Run, what ya gonna do?
I dare you to put this on your ipod and try not to prance as you listen. Physically impossible.

An excellent example of a great mix. Features Susanna and the Magical Orchestra’s (yes, they’re Norwegian) hauntingly beautiful cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart.
There is a Brit Pop god, and he has not abandoned us.
It only took me 25 years to discover Joy Division. A fun Joy Division side note is that the younger of the two boys for whom I nanny thinks that Larson is their singer.
A fantastic album from some other funny looking British dudes.

I wasn’t that into this album until we saw him in May. Then I totally got rocked, and a little (embarrassingly) turned on when The Moz rolled around on the stage and took his shirt off….
